I am truly honoured and excited to be joining Hemmingford Elementary as your principal for the 2025–2026 school year. With my appointment comes a change I know the community has been hoping for: Hemmingford Elementary will no longer share a principal with Franklin. Instead, I will be dedicated to Hemmingford, while also carrying some additional responsibilities for NFSB.
From the moment I arrived, I have been warmly welcomed by staff, families, and community members, and I am deeply grateful for the kindness and support already extended to me.
I look forward to building on the good work of my predecessor and the dedicated team already in place. One of the things that makes this school so special is the active role the community plays in supporting our students’ growth and success. It is clear to me that this is a place where people care deeply about one another and about creating the best possible opportunities for children.
In the months ahead, I am eager to get to know each of you—students, families, and community partners. Together, I am confident we can continue to nurture a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every child feels valued and inspired to reach their full potential.
