We shattered our fundraising goal of $800 and instead raised a total of $2851.35! Congratulations to grade 5 for raising the most money in the whole school and winning a free pizza lunch!
Roy Catto Retires!Our longtime custodian, Roy Catto retired before the start of this school year. His retirement and career at the school was celebrated surrounded by family, friends, colleagues, and former students on October 4th. We hope to see Roy around for more floor hockey starting soon.
One Friday a month, students will receive a platter of fresh fruits and vegetables. Our first was Friday October 3.
Hemmingford’s PPO held our annual corn roast to kick off the school year. There was lots of delicious corn and other food stuffs for students and staff. Even the wasps had a good time.
The Hemmingford Fire Department stopped by to teach our K4 & K5 students about fire safety. Students even got to try out the fire hose!
Congratulations to all those who participated in the annual cross-country run that took place in Ormstown!
After a rain delay our K4 & K5 classes headed to Petch Orchard to pick apples! Thank you to all our parent volunteers for helping out and the teachers for organizing the trip.
