Our Kindergarten students are certainly enjoying the change in weather and taking advantage of fun times outside. Our K4 class is also hard at work planting seeds.
Hemmingford students had the opportunity to have two percussion and dance workshops, and a special performance in March!
Our school’s ArtistsInspire Grant experience was made possible by an ELAN Quebec/LEARN partnership for students from Quebec’s English-speaking communities to participate in arts & culture experiences, thanks in part to funding from the Government of Canada.

April is Autism Acceptance month, a time to encourage people to embrace neurodiversity and celebrate autistic individuals for who they are, without attempting to change or cure their autism. Our goal is to help build a more understanding world for everyone. Let’s promote acceptance, and value the unique talents and perspectives of autistic people. Let’s show our support by wearing red on April 2 to kick off autism acceptance month. Whether it is through participating in events, sharing resources, or simply having conversations with friends and family, we can all play a role in celebrating Autism Acceptance month and working towards a more inclusive future for all
We were honoured to have our Hemmingford Legion members visit our school. Once again, they awarded several students for their submissions to the Legion’s poster and literary contests. Congratulations Hemmingford, we’re super proud of your efforts.
