Principal’s Update & November Newsletter

Hemmingford Herald – Newsletter

Dear families,

First, we would like to acknowledge the departure of two staff members who have helped this school immensely.

Sylvie Raithby will be transferring to Howick Elementary School before the winter break. We will miss her enthusiasm and passion for the school and its students. On behalf of the school team, I would like to thank you for everything you have done and I wish you well at Howick Elementary.

Roberta Marlin, a long standing bus driver, has retired. Roberta also volunteered at the school. The students and staff will miss Roberta.

We would like to take a moment to welcome Kim Miller, the incoming secretary who is currently working at Heritage Elementary School. We look forward to working with Kim and benefitting from her experience.

I would also like to take a moment to thank Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Petch, who, on behalf of the School Reunion Committee, donated $1000 to the school to support our I Love to Read Month and our Math Dictionaries. Donations like this help us have funding to offer innovative programs and events.

Our September 30 enrollment has passed and we have 96 students at Hemmingford Elementary School!

Sincerely,

James Walker, MA

Principal
